Geoff is a veteran creative producer who has worked professionally in the theatrical and media industries since 1977. Geoff collaborated with the Ice Capades, designing one of the world's first laser-based ice surface projection systems. In the 80s he designed, built and programmed laser and lighting visual effects, staging massive corporate theatrical events for IBM, Coca-Cola, Ford and NBC TV. Geoff joined Walt Disney Imagineering in 1988, developing stories, media sequences, stage designs, illusions and visual effect systems for dozens of Disney attractions. Geoff was key to media-intensive show designs for 'Spaceship Earth' and 'Universe of Energy' at EPCOT Center and show concepts for the Tokyo DisneySea theme park in Japan. In 1997 Geoff created projection effects for the Broadway musical, 'The Lion King'. In 1998, Geoff founded EffectDesign, Inc., whose premier project was New York City's Times Square 2000 millennium celebration. In 2006 the EffectDesign studios joined forces with a spin-off of ILM known today as Kerner Optical. Geoff joined Nightsage in 2007 as our theatrical set designer and visual effects creative director, producer and projectionist. Geoff also occasionally plays accent percussion at our live performances.
